He dreamed that he saw a stairway reaching from earth to heaven, with angels going up and coming down on it.
Genesis 28:12 GNTA This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Joshua David Harvey who was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 26, 1984 and passed away on August 24, 2003. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Josh could walk into a room and everyone would flock to him. He lit up the world with his beautiful smile. He was a very bright, kind, good looking person. He had a personality that everyone wanted but that GOD blesses only a few people with.
A Poem For Josh
Just sitting here remembering the time we used to share,
No matter all the fight we had I’m glad I knew you cared.
You always tried to stop the pain from breaking all our hearts,
A grandmas boy, a ladies man, a daddies son, you’ve been there from the start.
Now almighty GOD has lead the way, he’s guided all your steps,
He’s taken you to a better place, he only takes the best.
And even thought we miss you, we know that you are happy there,
No one can hurt your little heart, an angel unique and rare.
I promise I’ll be there someday, but only GOD knows when,
For now I’ll just try living on remembering back then.
One day we’ll be together again and no one will feel pain,
So excited when I reach you that my happiness will reign
Don’t know what to do with out you; you left us all behind,
My only wish is that I had so much more of your precious time.
Your little hands so young yet strong, they always helped us through,
Can now rest peacefully in heaven, like they have always deserved to.
Now you’re in the Lords hands with happiness so pure,
It comforts me to know this now, not to much you had to endure.
Now you are returning home, to heaven were you belong,
Where no one can hurt you again, no one can do you wrong.
I love you baby brother more than my words can ever say,
Everyday I talk and think about you and every night I cry and pray.
I know that you rest peacefully, your little soul to sleep,
And even thought you left us all, you’re the lord’s son to keep.
